Parkour- Road To Dreams

Well guys most of us have heard the word parkour and many of us are inspired by the cool moves related to this sport and few may have tried it at-least ones.

PARKOUR:
David Belle

The word parkour comes from the french word "parcous" which means, "the way through", or "the path" which is a training discipline using movements that are developed from military obstacle course. The word "parcous" was converted to "parkour" by a person known as David Belle,a French dude and a stunt coordinator mostly known for his movie "District 13" who is considered as the creator of parkour. The participants are called tracers and the main objective of this sport is moving from point "A" to point "B" in a complex environment without any assertive equipment and in the fastest and most efficient way possible.

Parkour includes running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadrupedal movement and other movements depending upon the environment.

Why learn parkour?

There are many people who would ask me why do you put yourself through these insane events. Well i always reply them with these, this is my life and i don't want regrets we need to enjoy in what we do. For many, life is all about making money or building status and they don't know how to live a fun and happy life they try to push away everything that comes in there way mainly unexpectable events and mostly they don't want change in there life. "New obstacles means more hard work and so lets avoid them is the mind set" of many these days because of which most of us are lazy or fat. Parkour is a sport which asks tracers to look at the environment in a new way, everyday is a new day and a new obstacle and asks us to clear the obstacle in the efficient way. For me Parkour taught we true meaning of FREEDOM and everyday when i go for parkouring my heart always beats with joy.
